General terms and conditions

1 - Scope of Application

These general terms and conditions of sale (GTCS) apply to all sales of products made by the company Growy and Tasty (hereinafter “the seller”) on its website www.growyandtasty.com (hereinafter “the site”). Accordingly, the parties agree that their relationship shall be governed exclusively by these terms and conditions, to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.

Furthermore, the seller reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time and without prior notice.

2 - Products

The products offered for sale on our site include food products, beverages, handicrafts and cosmetics. These items are mainly sourced from small local producers and artisans in Greece. We also reserve the right to add other product categories as opportunities arise.

The seller undertakes to supply quality products that comply with current standards. Please note that the photographs and illustrations on the site are non-contractual.

3 - Prices

Product prices are displayed on the site in euros, all taxes included (VAT), excluding shipping costs. Furthermore, the seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time and without prior notice. However, it undertakes to invoice the products at the price in force at the time of validation of the order by the customer.

Customers can place orders on the site 24/7. To do so, they must fill in their shopping cart and complete an online order form. This includes the requested information and the choice of a payment method. In addition, validation of the order by the customer implies acceptance of these GCS.

The online sales site reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom a dispute exists.

5 - Payment

Products can be paid for by credit card, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Revolut, CoinBase.
We reserve the right to add other payment methods as we go along. Transactions are secured according to the latest standards in force. The customer guarantees to the seller that they have the necessary authorizations to use the chosen payment method. The seller reserves the right to suspend any order and delivery in case of refusal of payment authorization by credit card from officially accredited organizations or in case of non-payment.

6 - Order cancellation and modification

Cancellation :

Cancellation of orders is possible, provided that the order is not already being shipped. In the event of a refund request, it is important to note that transaction fees charged by bank service providers, if these have already been invoiced to us, cannot be refunded. All cancellation requests must be made via the contact form or by WhatsApp, indicating the order references.

Modification :

If you would like to make a change to your order, please send us a request with your order details via the contact form or WhatsApp. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible and make the requested change, provided the order has not yet been dispatched.

7 - Delivery

Products are delivered to the address indicated by the customer at the time of ordering. The seller undertakes to prepare and dispatch orders as quickly as possible, subject to product availability.

Customers can choose between several delivery methods, all of which are offered with real-time tracking :

  • DHL Express

  • DHL Economy

  • Greek National Post (ELTA) with tracking

Once the parcel has been dispatched, a tracking number is sent to the customer. Tracking allows you to know the exact status of your parcel, and to obtain proof of delivery from the carrier.

In the event of delay, loss or problem with delivery, the seller may contact the carrier to open a claim. However, the seller’s liability remains limited to the acceptance of the parcel by the chosen carrier (DHL or Greek Post).

The delivery times indicated at the time of ordering are given as an indication by the carriers and in no case constitute a firm commitment by the seller. Shipping costs are at the customer’s expense and are specified before the order is validated.

In the event of an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, or in the event of non-receipt due to the absence of the recipient, the seller cannot be held responsible.

8 - Complaints

For any complaint, the customer must make the complaint via our contact form. In addition, the customer has a period of 2 days from receipt of the products in which to make a complaint.

9 - Right of withdrawal

The customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt to exercise his right of withdrawal, without having to justify the reason. Products must be returned complete and unused, in their original sealed packaging if applicable. Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense.

Legal exceptions: no withdrawal in particular for: (i) goods likely to deteriorate or expire quickly (fresh food, etc.); (ii) sealed goods that cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection and that have been opened after delivery (e.g. cosmetics, hygiene products); (iii) personalized goods ; (iv) goods inseparably mixed after delivery.

Procedure: to exercise your right, contact us via the contact form, indicating your order number. Refunds will be made within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods, using the original means of payment. This clause applies without prejudice to the legal guarantee of conformity.

10 - Legal warranties

The customer benefits from legal guarantees of conformity and hidden defects. In the event of a defective product, the customer must inform the online sales site within 48 hours of receipt of their order.

11 - Protection of personal data

The seller undertakes to protect the personal data of its customers in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD).

The data collected (name, address, e-mail, telephone, payment information) is used to process orders and improve the customer experience. It will not be sold or passed on to third parties without the customer’s prior consent, except in the context of service provision.

Customers have the right to access, rectify, delete and port their data. They may also object to the use of their data for prospecting purposes, by contacting the seller via the contact form or by e-mail.

12 - Sale of alcoholic beverages

The sale of alcohol is forbidden to minors. By validating his/her order, the customer certifies that he/she is of legal age in the country of delivery. The carrier or the seller may require verification of age and refuse delivery in case of doubt, without liability on the part of the seller for any delays/cancellations resulting therefrom.

13 - Customs, taxes and import restrictions

Shipments outside the European Union and/or to territories subject to import duties and taxes may incur charges to be borne by the customer (duties, local VAT, customs clearance fees). It is the customer’s responsibility to check that the products comply with the regulations of their country, and to pay any charges incurred. The seller cannot be held responsible for customs blockages or delays due to controls.

14 - Disputes

In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution. Failing this, the competent courts will be those in Greece.
