Description

Children’s educational excursion to Rhodes: an active, fun day out

This educational excursion for children to Rhodes offers an unforgettable learning adventure. Designed for school-age children, it combines discovery, play and learning. Each stage of the day stimulates curiosity, while cultivating essential values.

Participants are picked up from their accommodation in the morning. The program has been designed by experienced teachers. Each activity is designed to make learning fun. At the same time, children develop their social skills, creativity and respect for nature.

Ancient Olympic Games: learning by doing

The tour begins in the ancient stadium of Rhodes, where children discover the Olympic Games of the time. Through non-competitive games, they learn about respect, effort and team spirit.

What’s more, this physical activity provides a dynamic introduction to the day. The link between sport and education becomes immediately clear.

Nature, bees and butterflies: awakening the senses

The experience continues at the Bee Museum. Here, children observe transparent hives, taste local honeys and discover the role of bees. While the youngest explore, the teachers explain the natural cycles.

Then it’s on to Butterfly Valley, where silence is the order of the day. This enchanting place offers a calm stroll, conducive to observation and wonder. Butterflies’ sensitivity to sound makes this activity particularly immersive.

Respect for animals and sea bathing

The next part of theRhodes Children’s Educational Tour takes place at the Rhodes Animal Farm. The children feed the animals, observe them closely and learn how to care for them. Indeed, direct contact with the species enhances empathy and care.

Finally, the day ends at Afandou beach. The children enjoy some free time by the sea. A group discussion on coastal preservation concludes a rich and relaxing day.
