During this experience, you learn to draw and then engrave your own motif on a stone specially designed for this technique. For example, the motif can represent a name, an initial, a symbol, a logo or a meaningful design. No preparation or prior knowledge is required. The artist accompanies you step by step throughout the workshop.

You’ll then learn about engraving tools and how to create clear, legible lines. What’s more, you’ll learn how to apply ink or seal paste to make your first prints on paper. Thanks to this immersion, you’ll explore both the manual techniques and the cultural dimension of this age-old art.
