Description

Greek olive oil from the Messinian region

Stalia produces this extra-virgin olive oil in Gargaliani, in the Peloponnese. Every year, the harvest begins at the end of October. The family hand-picks Koroneïki olives exclusively before November 10. This ensures an early harvest, richer in phenolic compounds. The olives are then rapidly cold-pressed at temperatures below 24°C. This process preserves both aroma and nutritional quality.

A precise, fruity and perfectly balanced taste

Thanks to this approach, the oil develops an intense fruitiness, a slight bitterness and a pleasant spiciness. As a result, it is equally suited to simple dishes and elaborate recipes. For example, you can add it to a tomato salad, grilled vegetables or steamed fish. What’s more, its flavor blends in easily, without overpowering the other ingredients. For this reason, it remains an ideal everyday choice.

Controlled storage thanks to an opaque bottle

Stalia uses a painted glass bottle designed to block light. As a result, the oil retains its organoleptic qualities for longer. Each bottle is carefully presented, either in a cardboard box or with a hanging label. This 500 ml format is easy to handle and lasts a long time. To take full advantage of its aromas, simply store the bottle in a cool, dark place.

Family know-how renowned for its precision

Throughout the process, the family carefully controls each stage. First, they select perfectly ripe olives. Then, they quickly press them in their own mill. Finally, the oil is stored at a regulated temperature, protected from air and light. Thanks to this complete mastery, Stalia offers an oil that is faithful to its terroir, as stable as it is tasty.
