Nestled in the village of Kavalaria, near Korfes Malevizi, north of Mount Psiloritis, the Pathos estate grows Koroneiki olive trees using rigorous organic methods. This unique terroir, bathed in sunshine and caressed by Mediterranean breezes, gives Pathos olive oil exceptional aromatic richness and low acidity.
A science-driven quest for excellence
Behind Pathos is Maria, a chemist with a passion for olive growing. With a degree in analytical chemistry from the University of Crete, she has devoted her career to studying the phenolic compounds in olive oil and improving production methods. Our expertise guarantees top-quality olive oil that meets the most stringent health and taste standards.
A sensory experience in the heart of the olive grove
Pathos offers immersive tasting workshops, where visitors discover the secrets of olive oil production, learn to distinguish the different qualities and explore food-oil pairings. These experiences, hosted by Maria, offer an authentic immersion in Cretan culture and the art of tasting.
