Founded in 1975 by Panagiotis Papadeas, the company began by producing vinegar in wooden barrels from local Kalamata wines. Over the decades, Messino has evolved, modernized its facilities and expanded its product range, while remaining true to its family roots and commitment to quality.
A diversified product range
Messino offers a variety of products, from classic vinegars to culinary innovations:
Classic vinegars: red wine vinegar, white wine vinegar, organic vinegar.
Balsamic creams: available in a range of flavors, including lemon, basil, pomegranate, truffle, honey, fig, chili pepper and more.
Balsamic pearls: inspired by molecular gastronomy, these pearls offer an explosion of flavors in the mouth and are available in classic, white, truffle, pomegranate and lemon versions.
Lemon juice: concentrated lemon juice, ideal for seasoning dishes and salads.
Production combining tradition and technology
Messino combines traditional know-how with modern technology to guarantee high-quality products. The company uses controlled fermentation processes, stainless steel equipment and complies with strict hygiene and food safety standards, certified ISO 22000:2018 and FSSC:22000.
