Kavalaria Estate
Kavalaria Estate produces organic extra-virgin olive oil from the Koroneiki variety, hand-harvested at early maturity in the olive groves of Kavalaria (on the slopes of Psiloritis).
This oil combines a powerful and complex aromatic profile, an exceptional richness in polyphenols, and cultivation practices that respect sustainable family traditions.
Terroir, family and method
Located on the eastern slopes of Mount Psiloritis, in Kavalaria (municipality of Malevizi, Heraklion), this family-run business has always grown Koroneiki olive trees on semi-mountainous soils. Hand harvesting in October, followed by cold pressing on the same day, guarantees maximum quality.
Olives extracted at <24 °C then stored under nitrogen in stainless steel vats to preserve freshness.

Kavalaria Estate offers an oil with an intense green fruity aroma, combining fresh herbs, artichoke, green almond and pepper, with elegant bitterness and spiciness.
With 891 mg/kg of polyphenols, it benefits from the EU 432/2012 health mark, recognized for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cardio-protective properties.
Very low acidity (<0.15%), indicating high quality fruitiness.
