Founded in 2001, Bio Hellas has rapidly become Greece’s leading organic certification body. For over two decades, it has been controlling and certifying producers and their products.
Its mission: to promote sustainable agriculture that respects the environment, and to provide consumers with healthy, traceable products.

Application from the producer
The producer submits an application to Bio Hellas.
Initial inspection
A specialized team inspects the farm on site. Facilities and production processes must meet strict organic requirements.

Samples are analyzed in the laboratory for the presence of prohibited substances.
Official certification
If all criteria are met, the product receives official Bio Hellas certification.
Regular annual inspections
